Things to do in Perrysburg, Ohio: October- Hello, October! Fall is officially here and that means all kinds of new seasonal activities and events going on in the area – we’re so excited! With cooler temperatures and the changing seasons comes fun activities like corn mazes, Halloween and more. Want to get out of raking leaves over the weekend, or just want to enjoy October in the Perrysburg area? There are plenty of fun events and activities, fall-themed and otherwise, to suit all ages. - Fall Science Day, October 5, 11 a.m., Toledo Zoo: Head to the zoo with the kids for a fun day of learning! This event will show children how different animals and plants prepare for the winter time and includes science demonstrations and animal encounters. The perfect way to have a blast and learn! - Farmer’s Market, October 9, 3 p.m., Downtown Perrysburg: Hit the farmer’s market one last time before it closes to get fresh, local produce, flowers, homemade goods and more. Enjoy all of your seasonal favorites before winter arrives – until next summer!
- Garrison Ghost Walk, October 17-18, Fort Meigs: Do you love ghost tales and spooky stories? Head to Fort Meigs for this “spirited” tour with an 1812 guide and encounters with the spookier history of the fort. Proceeds from this event go to the Old Northwest Military History Association. - Octoboofest, October 25, 11 a.m., Downtown Perrysburg: How can you celebrate Halloween without carving a pumpkin? This free community pumpkin carving event will also feature free family fun and entertainment such as hay rides, live music, street performers and more. It’s sure to be a spooktacular time!
