4 Things To Do In Perrysburg, Ohio This August – Can you believe that August is already here? It seems like summer has just begun, but back to school season is right around the corner. Are your kids dreading the end of summer vacation? Not to worry – there are still plenty of fun things to do in and around Perrysburg to end the season with a bang! Whether you’re looking for a fun night out, a family day or something else, there’s an event or activity to suit your needs. We’ve gathered some of our favorite events going on in August below. 1. First Friday, August 1, 6 p.m., Downtown Perrysburg: Head downtown with the whole family for a night of fun! This free event will include live entertainment such as dancers, theatre groups, clowns, jugglers and music, plus venders, arts and crafts, train rides and a petting zoo. Perfect for a family night out!
2. Music at the Market, August 7, 7 p.m., Commodore School Yard: Grab some lawn chairs and a picnic to enjoy this outdoor concert. The night’s musical guest will be Hepcat Revival. There’s nothing like enjoying music on a warm summer night, but the event will be held in the Commodore School Building should there be inclement weather.
3. Farmers Market, each Thursday, 3 p.m., Downtown Perrysburg: Enjoy fresh, local produce, delicious homemade goods and more at this seasonal farmers market! Open rain or shine, there’s no better place to get great local food and crafts.
4. Life in Early Ohio, August 23-24, Fort Meigs: Does your family love history? Are you curious as to how settlers lived in Ohio of the past? This fun event at Fort Meigs features demonstrations of old-fashioned skills like blacksmithing and coopering, plus other aspects of frontier life. Visit the event’s website for more information.
